Delivery Procedure

We sent out the orders for delivery through courier ( Pallet Network Company). All deliveries will be made on a wagon that has a tail lift and a pallet truck. Access must be made for a lorry (up to 32ft) otherwise additional delivery charges may be payable. You must advise us of any restrictions that will impede the delivery vehicles from delivering the Products. The Products will be delivered to the kerbside outside. Our couriers are not insured to take goods onto your premises without permission. If you require the driver to come onto your property with the wagon, the Products, or both, this is entirely at your own risk and if the driver or wagon damages anything (including but not limited to, manhole covers, tarmac driveways, block paved drives, flagged driveways / graveled or stoned driveways, grassed areas, walls, pillars, gate posts, gates, trees, hedges, telephone wires, lights) the cost of repair will be your responsibility.

Ensure that the delivery area is flat and solid enough to take the weight of a pallet truck carrying up to 1000 kg in weight. Please note Gravel and Grass are not classed as solid and flat. If the delivery area is not flat the driver will require help in getting the pallets off the vehicle. If help cannot be given there will be a redelivery charge to deliver at a time when help can be given. If you live on a hill, then for health and safety reasons the pallet(s) may have to be delivered to the nearest flat ground. It will be your responsibility to move the goods to your property.

Re-deliveries and Damaged Goods

All deliveries need to be fully inspected prior to signing for them, this is for insurance purposes and any damages need to be noted on the signature sheet. If you are not at the delivery address to receive the Products or have not arranged anybody else to receive the Products on your behalf, the courier driver will not leave the goods. A surcharge will be made and also another charge will be made for the cost to re-deliver. The cost will be reasonable and will be charged at the courier rate only. If you refuse the goods or are unable to accept the goods at the time and a surcharge and a re-delivery charge will be made.


In a perfect world this wouldn’t happen, but as we all know, life isn’t perfect! Our stone is ethically sourced in India, it is crated up and will next see the light of day when you unpack it. In between it is transported from the quarry to the docks, put into a container, thrown around on the high seas for 6 weeks then unloaded in the UK. It travels to us, you buy it and finally we arrange transport to you. In all of that the odd breakage may occur, unfortunately replacement is not an option as these would certainly get broken in transit. Please remember most broken flags can be used for cuts and we, along with every other manufacturer and supplier recommend you allow at least 10% for cuts and breakages (and maybe the odd one you might not like the look of!) Because of this a refund or replacement will only occur in exceptional circumstances. However (and we do check), if there is significant damage then please let us know and we will do all we can to resolve the problem (significant damage is more than 10%). If you are ordering close to exactly what you want then please let us know and we will try and offer ideas and suggestions. I hope you appreciate our honesty and can be a little reasonable in return. Almost all flags will suffer small scuff or rub marks in transit, these are normally very minor and will disappear in a short time when laid.

Damage on Delivery

If you have a problem with your delivery and damage occurs or you suspect the product may be damaged then please sign the note as “Damaged on Delivery”. If you do not we cannot make a successful claim against insurance and ultimately replace any goods for you. Please sign “unchecked”.

Extra Delivery Options (Crane or Forklift)

Please note: We cannot offer the crane or forklift service for less than 7 packs/pallets

PAVE WORLD has access to its own fleet of vehicles which have the options of Hiab offloading (lorry with crane and grab). Some customers require this service as kerbside deliveries are no good to them. These services allow customers to have their goods delivered to places normal delivery companies cannot reach. Should you require one of these services then please ask and we will happy to quote you.

Timed Delivery Options

Normally the Delivery company, deliver the orders anytime between 9 am – 5 pm (Mon-Fri).

If required PAVE WORLD can offer special delivery timing services (Prices mentioned on the bottom of the page). The options include:
– Next Day Deliveries (11am Cut Off , Full Packs Only & Mon – Fri, Excluding Bank Holidays)
– AM Deliveries
– Saturday deliveries

The availability and pricing of these options vary considerably but PAVE WORLD will always be able to advise you on the choices you have. If you are desperate and the 11am cut off has passed or you need a split pack, please phone as we may still be able to help. Orders placed over the weekend and on public holidays will be collected on the following working day and delivered on the appropriate selected delivery service.

With Timed delivery services there is a leway of 30 minutes either way of the specified delivery arrival time. This is set by the delivery networks and inaccordance with the Road Haulage Association rules and not by PAVE WORLD.

Lead Times

Any dates specified for delivery of the Products are intended to be estimates and time for delivery shall not be made of the essence by notice. However, once the monies have been received, we aim to deliver all orders within 7 working days, on orders placed before 11am, with most orders being delivered much before that. This is providing products are in stock. Our delivery company will contact you to arrange a delivery time and date. Delivery can be made to another address other than your billing address. [Please be sure to leave a contact telephone number should we need to contact you about your order.]

International Shipping

We are able to ship internationally but do have to price up each job specifically. We regularly ship to Jersey and Guernsey and various regions of France where our customers find it is still cheaper to buy from us rather than local merchants who dont have the range of stock that PAVE WORLD does. Size does not matter, we can ship a manhole cover or 28 tons of paving direct to you.

Non-Delivery of Goods / Damaged Goods

We will not be liable for any non-delivery of goods or the delivery of damaged goods unless the ALL following is strictly complied by:

1) You give written notice to us of the problem within 24 hours of the date when the goods would in the ordinary course of events have been received.
2) Sign the delivery sheet as damaged goods, giving a detailed description.
3) Photos of each damaged item are also required as proof for the insurance company, these can be sent via email.
4) A telephone call should also be made to us to ensure we have received your notice.


If any of the goods delivered to you by Paveworld are not what you ordered, are damaged or of incorrect quantity, you are required to notify us in writing within 10 days of delivery of these goods. Notification after this period will incur no liability whatsoever on behalf of Paveworld.

Similarly, if you have not received the goods ordered by you within 14 days of the date of your order, we will have no liability whatsoever unless notified in writing within 10 days following this 14 day period.

Our only liability to you in the above situations will be to issue a part or full refund, or replacement of the goods in question. will be in no way liable to you for any loss, damage or expenses, either indirect or consequential, resulting out of the above situations or from the use of products purchased by you on



Natural stones are products of the nature. Therefore, variations in color, pattern, texture and veining must be accepted. These differences and variations in stone should be considered as the beauty of natural stone instead of flaws.

Purchaser acknowledges that natural stones vary in color, pattern, and texture. The actual stone delivered may differ from the sample or picture(s) shown. The purchaser acknowledges that additional stone ordered at a later date can be more expensive and cannot be guaranteed to match the original stone.

All samples are provided to give a general idea about the color variation and veining. Most of our samples come in small sizes such as 4×4 and 12×12 and Pave World does not guarantee or provide full size (16×16, 18×18 or 24×24 or any other size) samples unless special arrangements are made with us.


The Products will be at your risk from the time of delivery.  Ownership of the Products will only pass to you when we receive full payment of all sums due in respect of the Products, including delivery charges.

Pave World is not responsible for any stains, fissures, cracks or breakage that may occur after the tiles are installed and accepted in good condition.

Pave World reserves the right to make changes to this Natural Stone Disclaimer and to all other terms and conditions set within this website at any time, without making prior notice.

All the product pictures and images on are provided to give a general idea about the color, veining and variation of the stone and/or product. Due to the following reasons, misconceptions may occur:

  • Natural Stones may vary from one consignment to the next.
  • Lighting changes in pictures may make a product appear different from the actual product seen in “real life’.
  • Computer monitors often interpret colors in different ways.

We are doing our best to improve the quality of pictures in order to show our products as best as possible. Due to the limited capacity and decreasing speeds on the website, it is not possible to include large numbers of high resolution pictures. However, we encourage all customers to request pictures of our current lot for the product(s) of interest.
Please feel free to ask for the pictures of our current lot and also samples for the product(s) which you are interested in.

Delivery Cut-Off Time (Same day Dispatch)
Cut-off time for same day dispatch is 12pm (Noon). All orders made after this time will be dispatched the next working day.
For example, an order placed at 2pm for next day delivery on a Monday will be dispatched on Tuesday for delivery Wednesday.

Late Delivery / Compensation
We strongly advise not to arrange any tradesperson or equipment hire until the goods have been delivered in case of any unforeseen circumstances resulting in a delayed delivery. Deliveries are carried out by a third party delivery company. Whilst we make every effort for the goods to be delivered in the given time frame, this is just an estimation and never is guaranteed, therefore we cannot be held responsible for any matters beyond our control that result in your delivery being delayed. You are not entitled to any compensation.
